View PDFSHANGHAI July 21.—Gen Fu Tso Yi, Governor of Suiyuan, the Chinese province bordering Outer Mongolia, who is visiting Nanking, today denied reports that Outer Mongolia troops had penetrated 65 miles into Chinese territory. He also denied that they had set up their own Outer Mongolian border Government.
(The Nanking Government sent a protest Note to Russia and Outer Mongolia on July 11 demanding immediate withdrawal of Outer Mongolian troops from Sinkiang province, west of Suiyuan, and reiterating a previous Chinese protest attacks by alleged Russian planes on Peitashan.)—Reuter.
